We were so happy with a fabulously warm and sunny sunday. We went over all the previously epoxied holes in the cockpit and found “issues” with 55 holes.
Michael uses a good technique of marking each hole with masking tape so that when he’s got it all mixed up he can easily make his way from hole to hole.
We have to make some aesthic decisions about the new nonskid surface. If we leave the borders around all nonskid areas we will have to make them narrower, so that the yucky edge where the boards had been glued down gets covered up.
We wait for a stretch of warmer, dryer days for the final scrub and acetone rinse before applying the Kiwi Grip.
